Color Use

Color is a powerful visualization tool, but it is easy to misuse color.

As previously discussed, the most useful way to describe color for visualization is in terms of:

Hue: The color name
Saturation: The vividness of the color
Luminance: The lightness/brightness of the color

There are two main uses of color:
